Confirmation of Youth The parish program for the immediate preparation for the reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation takes place in the 10th grade year. In order to receive Confirmation, all youth must have received at least two years of religious education immediately prior to entering the Confirmation program, either at a Catholic school or through our parish faith formation program. Each youth will be required to attend Confirmation sessions in final preparation to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. These sessions will begin with a parent-teen meeting held in October of the 10th grade year. The program consists of final preparation sessions, a team building retreat, a day of reflection and participation in at least two parish sponsored service projects.

Confirmation of Adults The parish program for adults wishing to receive Confirmation begins in January of each year. Catholic adults who wish to receive Confirmation at Immaculate Heart of Mary must have received Baptism and Eucharist and be a registered member of IHM. Each Confirmation Candidate will be required to attend 2 sessions and a rehearsal.
