The Parish Pastoral Council is responsible for the pastoral life and ministry of the parish.

The code of Cannon Law suggests that each parish have a Parish Pastoral Council, as a visioning body, responsible of pastoral planning. In other words, they have a planning and evaluation role in the parish.

Some of the guidelines for our Pastoral Council are:

• The members are people of prayer, representatives of our diverse community and active parishioners.

• The role of the council is pastoral and missionary. They research and evaluate the ideas and aspirations of the parish and its conformity to the Gospel, while promoting pastoral activity.

• The pastor presides over the Parish Pastoral Council and guides their final decisions.

Members of the Pastoral Council are appointed by the Pastor for a three-year period.

The Pastoral Council meets 9 times a year at the rectory.
