School Advisory Council

The IHM School Advisory Council's mission is to help foster the development of the school within the community and through the families that support it. The Council serves as a liaison between the archdiocese, the school and the community at large through visionary leadership and works hand in hand with the school administration to ensure academic and religious growth in a diverse Catholic Christian environment.

The Advisory Council has the following purposes:

  • To support effective administration, operation and maintenance of the school.
  • To provide a means of communication.
  • To review and discuss programs in light of the administrative vision for the school.
  • To develop and strengthen the relationship between the school and the parish.
  • To assist the administration in the implementation of the policies of the Archdiocese of Atlanta.

The IHM School Advisory Council is composed of the pastor, principal, and representatives of the parish and school communities.
