This activity is a social outreach and basis of fellowship for bridge players.  There are two groups, the Tuesday afternoon (1pm) group which tends to be primarily for senior citizens who are intermediate to advanced bridge players and the first Friday evening group.

The First Friday Bridge Group has been meeting for over thirty-five years.  First in the homes and later, as the group aged and driving to unfamiliar houses became more difficult, in the parish center.  There are 56 regular members and 23 substitutes.  It is a very ecumenical group.

Since September we have been meeting at Holy Cross.  There have always been Holy Cross members as part of the group and the number has grown since the move was announced.  We are hampered by lack of storage space and kitchen facilities, but bridge players are a hardy group and will survive.  Several members are in their eighties and nineties.
