First Saturday Devotion - At Fatima, Portugal, the Blessed Virgin appeared to three shepherd children. She asked for a devotion to her Immaculate Heart, consisting of Holy Communion, Reconciliation, the rosary, and meditations. On first Saturdays since 1979, IHM parishioners have practiced the devotion Mary requested. They meet on the first Saturday of every Month for 8:30 a.m. Mass followed by the rosary and meditations. Reconciliation is available after Mass.
